We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology and processed through secure payment gateways (Payoneer).

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Project files are typically retained for 12 months after project completion unless otherwise requested.

1. Service Agreement

By engaging my freelance video editing services, you agree to these terms. Services include video editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and post-production work as described in your project proposal.

2. Payment Terms

Payment Schedule:

• Projects under $164: Full payment via Selar before work begins
• Projects over $164: 50% deposit via Payoneer before work, 50% upon completion
• Custom projects: Payment terms as specified in the project agreement

Accepted Payment Methods: Payoneer (credit cards, bank transfers), Selar

Currency: All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified

3. Project Delivery & Revisions

Delivery Timeline: Standard delivery is 5-7 business days. Rush delivery (1-3 days) available with additional fee.

Revisions: Each service package includes 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions billed at $25/hour.

File Delivery: Final files delivered via Google Drive or preferred cloud service.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide clear project requirements and feedback
• Deliver all necessary raw footage and assets in agreed formats
• Make timely payments as specified
• Provide feedback within 3 business days for each revision round
• Obtain necessary rights for all provided materials

5. Intellectual Property

Client Materials: You retain all rights to your original footage and materials.

Final Deliverables: Upon full payment, you receive full rights to the edited video for your intended use.

Portfolio Rights: I retain the right to display completed work in my portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation by Client:

• Before work begins: Full refund of deposit
• During editing: Refund proportional to work completed
• After delivery: No refunds

Cancellation by Editor: Full refund if unable to complete work.

7. Liability

Total liability limited to project fee. Not liable for indirect damages. Professional indemnity insurance covers work errors.

8. Governing Law

These terms governed by laws of Uganda. Disputes resolved in Kampala courts.
